We are grateful to a number of area businesses that pay
special attention to the needs of our seniors while
supporting the efforts of Rome Memorial Hospital. Here
are some of the businesses that have joined with us to
provide discounts through Senior Connections:
Jet 1 Hour Cleaners, 502 N. James St., Rome –
Receive a 30% discount on three-day dry cleaning service
when you present your membership card with your
incoming order. The discount does not apply to
household items such as draperies, curtains, bedspreads,
leather and fur items that are sent to a furrier
cleaner; or for repairs and alterations.
The Photo Shoppe, 1705 N. James St., Rome –
Receive a 10% discount on photo processing done in house
when you present your membership card with your film.
RMH Retail Pharmacy, 1500 N. James St., Rome
– Receive a 10% discount off the cash price of
any prescription or over-the-counter medication that you
purchase when you present your membership card. The
pharmacy is located on the ground floor of the hospital.
The discount cannot be applied to co-payments (third
party prescription plans).
Goodyear Gemini Auto Service Center, 1745 Black River
Blvd., Rome -
Receive an oil, lube and filter for $15.95 for most cars
and light trucks. You’ll also receive a 10% discount on
auto service and a 5% discount on tires. (No other
discounts apply. Environmental disposal fee and other
miscellaneous service charges may apply.)
Hummel’s Office Plus, 322 E. Chestnut St., Rome -
Receive a 20% discount off manufacturer’s list prices
for cash and carry, in-stock items in card, gift, office
supplies, luggage, furniture and machine departments,
plus an additional 5% off already discounted items.

West Side Athletic Club, Route 69, Rome –
Receive $75 off the regular one-year membership
or three months for the discounted price of $99.
Bailey’s Karate School, Rome-Taberg Road, Rome -
Sign up for Tai Chi for Health Program at a discounted
price of three months for $109. Tai Chi is a great
exercise program for seniors because it uses slow,
smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation
of both the body and the mind.
Lifeline,
the personal response and support system, also
participates with our Senior Connections program.
Members receive one free month of service with
presentation of their membership card to Lifeline home
service representative during a new installation.
