facilitate the exchange of information between the department and the
community and medical professionals which will, ultimately, result in
better care for our patients," said Program Director Mary Lou
Kunkel. "Her ability to convey information and to listen is the key
that will help her to do her job well."

experience in the healthcare communications field. Before joining the
hospital’s rehabilitation program, she served as the clinical
education coordinator at Sitrin’s Medical Rehabilitation Center.
"I am enthusiastic about
sharing information with patients, the community, and health care
professionals, so that there is a broader understanding of the type of
services that physical medicine and rehabilitation provides," said
Durso. "I am also looking forward to receiving their input so that
we can provide our patients with the best possible service," she
added.
