Physician’s Assistant Receives Master’s Degree

ROME – LaShawnda Giuffrida, RPA-C has earned a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in Physician Assistant Studies. Her chosen topic of study was “Clinical Review and Current Management of Breast Cancer.” Supervision was performed by Shuban K. Moza, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Giuffrida has privileges at Rome Memorial Hospital and is involved with the primary care of patients and comprehensive breast care management at the practice of Dr. Moza, located at 1614 N. James St. in Rome.
Giuffrida holds a bachelor of science degree in biological science from the University of Alaska and an associate’s degree in general science, psychology and liberal arts from the Solano Community College of California. She received her physician assistant certification from LeMoyne College, Syracuse. Giuffrida is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Giuffrida lives in Munnsville with her husband and two sons.
