ROME MEMORIAL HOSPITAL HOSTS HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE 
Rome Memorial Hospital’s Senior Behavioral Health Unit (SBHU) hosted the regional Behavioral Health Science Conference focusing on “Depression and Suicide in the Elderly” Sept. 14 at The Beeches Inn and Conference Center. Over 140 mental health professionals attended. Located on the second floor of the hospital, the 11-bed SBHU is a secure therapeutic environment that provides behavioral health care for seniors who have depression, anxiety, psychosis and other acute illnesses. The Senior Behavioral Health Unit can take admissions seven days a week, 24 hours a day to meet the needs of seniors in crisis. For more information, please call 338-7399.
