Rest is essential for the recovery process. Please encourage visitors to give you an opportunity to recuperate and be considerate of your roommate.

 

GENERAL:
  • Visitors with a cold or contagious disease should not visit.

  • Only two visitors are allowed at one time.

  • Children under 12 are not permitted on 2 East, 2 North, ICU, Acute Rehabilitation or Ambulatory Surgery.  Siblings of all ages are permitted in Maternity and Pediatrics.  Visitors must be at least 14 in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.

PEDIATRIC:
  • One family member may stay overnight with young children on a complimentary cot provided by the hospital.

  • No food or candy may be brought to a child without permission of the charge nurse.

  • No toys with removable parts or crayons are allowed for toddlers.

  • Visitors are asked to refrain from eating in the patient’s presence. Visitors may use the lounge areas.

MATERNITY:
  • Siblings of any age may visit.

  • Fathers or coaches are welcome any time in the labor & delivery suites and 7 a.m.-10 p.m. in the post-partum unit.

INTENSIVE CARE UNIT:
  • Only immediate family members are allowed to visit.
