“An  Evening Aboard the RMH Discovery” Ball & Auction

ROME –Rome Memorial Hospital Foundation’s premier event, “An Evening Aboard the RMH Discovery” Ball & Auction, will be ready to “leave port” on November 16, 2007, from the Beeches Inn and Conference Center. The event, which is expected to draw over 325 guests, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction.

“Passengers” will have the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of one of four “ports” – Alaska, Caribbean, South Pacific or Mediterranean – during the first part of the evening.  While on board, guests will enjoy a first-class Captain’s dinner, exciting live auction and dancing to Nik and the Nice Guys to complete the journey. 

“An Evening Aboard the RMH Discovery” also features a raffle for a 7-night cruise for two at one of four exotic locations (Eastern Caribbean, Mediterranean, Alaska or South Pacific) or a spa from O.J. Gulla – winner’s choice!   The spa, which is a Tiger River Spas Sumatron model valued at $5,800, can be viewed at O.J. Gulla, East Dominick Street, Rome.  A maximum of 300 tickets at $50 each are being sold for the raffle.  The holder of the winning ticket does not need to be present at the event to win. Tickets for the raffle of the event can be obtained by calling the Foundation offices at 337-5309.
